APACS 2.0
My Brother's Keeper, Inc. (MBK) is implementing the Access to Prevention and Care Sustainability Project 2.0
(APACS 2.0) funded by Gilead. The APACS 2.0 Project provides community-based organizations (CBOs) capacity building assistance (CBA) services designed to strengthen their capacity to develop and/or expand HIV prevention and treatment programs that eliminate barriers to access and utilization of HIV prevention, care, and supportive service and also strengthen its capacity to achieve long-term financial stability.
APACS 2.0 accomplishes its goal by implementing a comprehensive CBA program that provides training and technical assistance in: (1) organizational management and sustainability and (2) program management and implementation. The project focuses on activities designed to enhance finance and administration capacity to account, report, and monitor budgets and activities across grant funds, 340B program income, and medical billing. Organizational capacity will be increase through; (1) Health Informatics (systems and organizational upgrades), (2) Billing Science (revenue cycle management and 340B), (3) Finance Integrity (policy and procedures compliance), (4) Marketing (media and creative services) and (5) Human Resources (recruitment strategies). Project staff works with organizations to strengthen community relationships by identifying opportunities for coalition building.
