Community REACH Project (Regional Enhancement Approaches to Combating HIV)
The Community REACH Project is funded through the Centers for Disease Control. The project was established to provide programmatic and organizational support in the form of technical assistance to community-based organizations (CBOs), health departments (HDs), faith-based organizations (FBOs), communities, and other public health professionals serving African American populations relative to HIV prevention in the Southern and Western Regions of the United States.
Project Goal: To enhance the ability of community based organizations, health departments (HDs), faith-based organizations (FBOs), and communities and to increase access to and utilization of HIV prevention and risk reduction services.
